How to find Jeedeson bamboo flooring at Lowe's
Big-box flooring aisles mix bamboo, laminate and vinyl on the same shelf. Three checks and you'll be looking at the right box.

Search in store or online by coverage
Search the flooring category and compare the coverage per carton on the label. Our cartons state it plainly — 18.3, 19.8 or 20 sq ft. That figure, not the price per box, is what determines how many cartons the room needs.

Check the construction, not the colour
Bamboo, laminate and vinyl all imitate each other from two metres away. Look for solid bamboo through the plank thickness, and for click lock or tongue & groove edges rather than a glued backing.

Confirm it is a returnable, in-stock line
Flooring is a special-order item in many stores. Before you plan an installation weekend, confirm the store or the site can actually get the carton count you need — and check the return terms on the listing at the time you buy.

The floor is the expensive part; the small parts are the reason a job stalls on a Sunday afternoon. Buy them together.
Underlayment or moisture barrier
Solid bamboo is sensitive to moisture from below, especially over a concrete slab. An underlayment with a moisture barrier is one of the cheapest things in the order and one of the most important.
Transition strips and thresholds
Wherever bamboo meets tile, carpet or a doorway, you need a transition profile. Measure those openings before you shop — they are the piece people forget and then drive back for.
Baseboard, shoe moulding and paint
If you are pulling baseboards to fit the floor, plan for patching and repainting the wall behind them. Same trip, same colour code.
Spacers, tapping block and a pull bar
Interlocking floors need a consistent expansion gap at every wall. These three items cost very little and are the difference between a floor that stays flat and one that peaks in summer.
Knee pads, gloves and a decent blade
Flooring is a kneeling job and bamboo is hard on blades. Cartons are heavy to move and awkward to carry, so bring help or plan a delivery.
A moisture meter for the slab
If you are laying over concrete, check the slab — do not assume. A cheap meter tells you whether the underlayment you bought is enough or whether the job needs to wait.

Store pickup or delivery — what to think about
A flooring order is heavy and bulky in a way that other projects are not. The right choice depends on how much you are buying and how you are getting it home.

Either way, buy the full carton count in one go. Topping up later risks a different batch, and batch-to-batch shade variation is normal in a plant-derived material. Pickup, delivery and return terms are set by Lowe's — check the options shown on the listing at the time you buy.
Measure twice
How many cartons for the room you're about to do?
Put in the measurements for each room separately rather than the whole house — it is easier to check, and the 10% cutting waste works out more accurately room by room.

What to know before you buy a floor at Lowe's
Search the flooring category rather than a product name, and compare the coverage per carton stated on the label — our cartons state it plainly at 18.3, 19.8 or 20 sq ft. Bamboo, laminate and vinyl sit on the same shelf and look similar from a distance, so check the construction and the edge profile rather than the colour.
Underlayment with a moisture barrier, transition strips for every doorway, baseboard or shoe moulding, spacers, a tapping block and a pull bar. Those are the parts that stop a job halfway through, and they cost very little next to the floor itself.
One or two cartons, pick up. A whole floor, several rooms or an upper floor, have it delivered — cartons of solid bamboo are heavy and awkward, and moving them twice is how people hurt their backs. Pickup, delivery and return terms are set by Lowe's and shown on the listing at the time you buy.
Heavier than it looks. Solid bamboo is dense, and a full carton of 15 mm planks is a two-person lift. Check the shipping weight shown on the listing, and if you are picking up, bring a second pair of hands and something to protect the car.
Over a concrete slab, yes — and it should include a moisture barrier, because solid bamboo is sensitive to moisture from below. Over a dry timber subfloor a suitable underlayment still helps with minor unevenness and noise. Check the slab with a moisture meter rather than assuming.
Not for a genuinely wet room. Bamboo is water-resistant, not water-tight: wipe spills promptly and never let water stand on the boards. For a bathroom, laundry room or a damp basement, look at SPC flooring instead — no wood core, so standing water will not swell it.
Once planks are cut and laid they cannot be returned, which is why you should open one carton first and dry-lay a few planks in the actual room before committing. Acclimation matters with any solid bamboo floor — planks move with the humidity of the room they are going into. Leave the cartons in the room, unopened and flat, for a few days before you start, and keep the room within normal living humidity rather than a freshly plastered or newly heated space.
