Which of the seven suits your room?
Plank width changes the look more than the colour does. Here is the short version.
Bedrooms — 5.11″ wide plank
Wide planks mean fewer visible seams, which reads calmer in a room you sleep in. Go matte (Gloss 10) if the room gets strong daylight; a glossy surface shows every scuff in raking light.
Hallways and kitchens — strand woven
The busiest floors need the hardest surface. Carbonized strand woven presses the fibres to about 1,200 kg/m³ — roughly 30% harder than oak — and is rated commercial grade at 10,000+ Taber revolutions.
Rentals and apartments — click lock
Click lock floats over the subfloor with no glue and no nails, and lifts back up when you move. That re-usability is the whole point in a rental — check your lease before fixing anything down.
Warm floors — underfloor heating
Several of our ranges are underfloor-heating compatible, but not all floor coverings are. Confirm the heating system's maximum surface temperature with its installer before you commit to a carton count.
